Alabamy and The Dark Knight
We are here in the good ol' state of Alabama. Visiting with Raul and Kelly of course and it is wonderful! We love them. Last night we got to go see The Dark Night which according to Raul is "sick" and Daniel says its "wicked bad". Yes it was fantastic. Very must see. We love it. But what made it even better was we got to see it with people we love. And we are off to the beach today. Yea! I love it here.

We are going to AZ!!!
My brother has a great opportunity to work in Utah for a few days and we have been trying to figure out a way that we would be able to go up there and be with him somehow and also get to see family. And we have figured out a way! ALRIGHT! I am soo excited we are going to see the AZ family! We love you guys. All of your children are growing up so fast and we are kind of sad that we are missing most of it. But we will get to see them and everyone else too! We will arrive in AZ on August 5th and leave on the morning of the 9th. So even though it is a short visit, we are still glad we get to see everyone! And we will also get to go to our favorite place... Filiberto's! We LOVE IT. So good ad so cheap! You can't beat it! Plus we have to stock up on the Mexican candy Daniel likes so much. (I only like some of it.) But YEA!!!!!!

Home Improvement
Well this weekend started out way GREAT! Kelly and Raul came to visit and we just relaxed and enjoyed spending time together, and then my family came and we prepared a gripload of food! Poor Raul was grilling in the superheat. But the food was wonderful :) And then my bro-in-law Rick went with Daniel to buy the supplies to get started on our house renovations. And since then it has been crazy. Our floor is NEVER clean because as soon as I pick up all the trash that's coming off the ceiling, there is more coming down. Poor Trogdor has to stay in a crate pretty much ALL day because he would eat all the stuff that's on the ground and we have discovered that its not as easy to put up drywall as we thought. There is always something that slows the process down. But we are super grateful for Raul and Kelly's help! They are the greatest! And my brother also came over to help us for a day. So that was awesome. I wish we could have gotten more done but I am glad we finished the stuff that's there. We have decided it would be easier if we moved all the furniture out of the room. So my job today is to move everything into a different room. FUN.

Misty Water-Colored Memories
This is the memory challenge from Kelly's blog. Its pretty fun, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I love my fam!
Trogdor made it through the surgery just fine and was up and running around that night! He never showed any sign of pain or anything, but he does have a pretty high tolerance. He can take a beating from our cats and then run after them to "play" some more. So cute.
And my brother made it home safe and sound and taller and skinnier! I mean who goes to Utah on a mission and comes back skinnier? Well it wasn't because he wasn't being fed, but he has actually worked really hard to get into better shape. Kudos to him. But he has grown up a lot on his mission. Its fun to see how different he is, but still see the little brother he used to be. Hopefully he will keep his good habits he developed on his mission, like waking up early and cleaning... We went to my parents house this weekend and it was a blast. Daniel and Jonathan played Wii til all hours of the night. We cleaned up my mom's house, and had Jonathan's open house. That was pretty awesome. We had a lot of people show up and lots of food and friends. Good times.
On the weight loss front, I am now about 5 pounds away from what I was when Daniel met me! :) That's still WAAAAy to big, but atleast now I feel like I am on my way! Woo Hoo!
Now I can't wait until my family comes to visit me this weekend. We will go buy drywall and stuff so we can really begin making over at least our living room and we will go do lots of stuff in Lafayette! And I also can't wait until Raul and Kelly come visit us! Kuz we love them so much! and I really like their taste so I hope they will help us pick out colors and stuff. Plus Kelly always finds great deals! So that will be good too! And now Sandy (my best friend) and Jake (her husband) are coming to visit us too! This is GREAT! And both have them have actually hung drywall before!!! EVEN BETTER! We haven't had this many visitors in our house since we've been married! Its WONDERFUL! So I can't wait until you all come and spend time with your favorite people! LOL J/K!
